The Finnish Toy Dog Association's Championship Show for all breeds in FCI Group 9 and other traditional toy dogs will take place in the Finnish capital, Helsinki, on the last Sunday in August. This is the biggest toy and nonsporting event in the Nordic region, attracting an entry of over 1300 dogs last year.
We offer toy and nonsporting exhibitors a beautiful venue in the historic Kaivopuisto Park in the diplomatic quarter of Helsinki, internationally recognized specialist judges in many breeds and very reasonable entry fees. All dogs with a DNA profile are eligible for a discounted entry fee.
CAC's (Challenge Certificates) are on offer in all participating breeds. Please note that foreign champions need only one CAC for the Finnish Champion title.
Once again, the internationally acclaimed English dog photographer, David Dalton, has been invited as the official photographer for the show.
Best in Show at this year's show will be selected by an experienced Finnish allrounder, Kari Jarvinen, who is Chairman of the Nordic Kennel Union as well as a member of the FCI General Committee. The Best Puppy in Show will be judged by Brenda Jones of the Kojak Chinese Crested fame from Britain, while the Best Breeders' Group in Show will be chosen by the Swedish allrounder Carl-Gunnar Stafberg and the Best Veteran in Show by Sylvie Desserne of France.
Welcome to the Kaivopuisto Park for a unique dog show experience!
