This year's show was held in a downtown Hesperia Park in the very heart of Helsinki wedged between the National Opera and the Finlandia Hall as the club's usual venue, the historic Kaivopuisto Park, was undergoing renovation. In fact, some of the rings were on the National Opera's ground right next to Helsinki's main street. The change of venue did not affect the entry, which was just under 1300 dogs, making it the largest toydog and nonsporting event in the Nordic region.
The show will return to its traditional venue at the Kaivopuisto Park in the diplomatic quarter of Helsinki next year when it will be held on August 29, 2010 with Mrs. Michele L. Billings from the U.S. judging Best in Show. The judging panel will be published in January 2010.
