Entry Information

This Championship Show is the national specialty for the Association's 23 breeds in the toy and nonsporting groups as well as a Championship Show for the remainder of the breeds in FCI's Group 9.

All breeds are eligible for Challenge Certificates (CAC's.) Includes unofficial puppy classes.

Entries should be mailed to the Kaivopuisto Show, P.O.Box 11, FI-79101 Leppavirta, Finland, no later than August 4, 2008 (postmark). An entry form can be printed from the link on the left. Please include a copy of the pedigree for foreign-registry dogs with the entry form. For online entry and payment by credit card, please click the link below:

Entry fees: 26.00€ for the first dog, 22.00€ for each subsequent dog owned by the same owner. We offer a 5.00€ discount on the entry fee for each dog that has a DNA-certified parentage verification. A copy of the DNA certificate should be enclosed with the entry form.

Entry fees should be paid no later than August 4, 2008, to the Finnish Toy Dog Association's bank account at the Sampo Plc, BIC/SWIFT Code DABAFIHH, International Bank Account Number:
FI6080001300801694. Please include all bank charges when making the payment.

Catalogue Advertising : We offer a limited amount of advertising space in the show catalogue. Prices: full color page: 100.00€, full page (black and white) 50.00€, half a page (black and white, no photograph) 30.00€. The advertisements should be paid to the Association's account (account details above) and the advertising materials e-mailed to: info (at) toydogs.net no later than July 15, 2008.

Import and Other Regulations: Please visit the website of the Finnish Food Authority for details of import regulations (link on the left). Under the Finnish Kennel regulations, all dogs entered at the show must be identified by a microchip or tattoo; all dogs have to have a valid rabies vaccination certificate and they have to be vaccinated against distemper and hardpad. The Finnish Kennel Club may also carry out doping tests on participating dogs at the show.


N.B. The members of the Show Committee and their family members will not exhibit their dogs at this show.
