Classes at this show:
Minor Puppy - for puppies over 5 months. but not exceeding 7 months (unofficial)
Puppy - for puppies over 7 months but not exceeding 9 months (unofficial)
Best Puppy - for minor puppy and puppy class winners who have been awarded a prize of honor (unofficial)
BPIS - Best Puppy in Show competion for all Best Puppies in Breed (unofficial)
Junior Class - for dogs over nine months but not exceeding 18 months
Intermediate Class - for dogs over 15 months but not exceeding 24 months
Open Class - for dogs, except Finnish Champions, over 15 months; no upper age limit
Champion Class - for international champions or national champions of organizations recognized by the FCI; obligatory for Finnish Champions unless they are eligible for the Veteran Class *
Veteran Class - for dogs over 8 years. The Best Veteran of the Breed is eligible to enter the Best Veteran in Show competition provided it has received an excellent grading at the show.
Breeders' Class - for four dogs bred by the same breeder out of two different combinations (a repeat litter from the same combination does not qualify.) All dogs in the group have to be entered at the show and receive an excellent or very good grading. The best group in the breed will go forward to the Best Breeders' Group in Show competition.
* Foreign champions need one Finnish CAC to gain their Finnish Championship provided they are over 2 years of age.
