The yearly Finnish toy dog championship show at Helsinki's Kaivopuisto park was held on August 31st. The Maltese breed was judged by the Italian Elisabetta Di Luca.

Maltese dogs registered in Finland and owned by a Finnish member of Maltalaiset are allowed to participate in the Maltalaiset Competition provided their results are sent before the yearly deadline. Five best results from shows arranged in Finland are considered from each calendar year.

The Nordic Winner Show 2001

The Nordic Winner Show 2001 was arranged at Tuusula Sports Park in Finland on 12th to 13th of July 2001. The Argentinan judge Elena Mentasti De Spector placed a Maltese dog second when choosing the best of FCI 9 Toydog Group.
